# Exports

Using Project07\_Chat From Other Resources

Project07\_Chat provides exports that allow other resources to control the chat interface.

#### Show the Chat Input

```lua
exports['Project07_Chat']:ShowChat()
```

#### Hide the Chat

```lua
exports['Project07_Chat']:HideChat()
```

#### Check Whether the Chat Is Open

```lua
local isOpen = exports['Project07_Chat']:IsChatOpen()
```

These exports can be useful when creating features such as:

* Character creation systems
* Cutscenes
* Minigames
* Custom interfaces
* Interaction systems
* Temporary UI restrictions
